Haberfield Public celebrates Harmony Day 2017

Haberfield put on another great Harmony Day assembly for the students in celebration of Australia’s cultural diversity.

Over the last couple of weeks, classes have been creating poems, posters and artworks to highlight the importance of inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Today at 11:30am, representatives from each stage shared their Harmony Day activities through a “Show and Tell”. The school banded together to sing the Harmony Song. There was even a Japanese Welcome song on the Taiko drum by students.
