Starting School With Us

Enrol Online

Starting school is an important step in a young child’s life.

Our Kindergarten Orientation in Term 4 provides opportunities for you and your child to meet our staff, tour the school and attend parent workshops that cover all aspects of general school life. We also encourage you to join us at our School Open Days which provide parents with opportunities to meet our staff, tour our school and gain insights on all aspects of school policies, procedures and general school life.

We encourage you to consider enrolling your child at Haberfield Public School, a centre of excellence since 1910. Once you have made the decision to enrol, you will be asked to fill out an Application to enrol in a NSW Government school form and submit it to us at school.

Forms are available from our office, your local regional office or found online below. We ask for a proof of identity (e.g. birth certificate), an immunisation certificate (for primary school enrolments) and proof of address for your child.

Your application will be considered by the school Principal to ensure that your child’s needs have been identified and assessed. In some circumstances, it will be necessary for us to gather further information prior to finalising a decision.

Please assist us in this process by ensuring the information on your application form is accurate and complete.

Please do not purchase items for your child such as our school uniforms until you receive confirmation of enrolment. If your application is accepted, the information you have provided will be used by our school to formally enrol your child. Read more about Starting school here
